Guilty

I had jury duty today. And no, I wasn't looking forward to it either. It was easy/boring though. I brought my ipod and listened to music for 3 hours until lunch, at which we were informed no afternoon jury's were going to be needed and so my duty was completed. Woohoo! 12 months til I have to go through that again.

Free Stuff

So far my weekend has been great. On Friday, I went to Dreamworks with my parents to have lunch with Robert. Thats top secret stuff they have going on in there. We all had to show our IDs and be on a guest list just to get in. Then we had lunch, which was quite tasty. Robert showed us the coy ponds on the campus. I think it should be the Dreamworks palace... or small city maybe. But anyhow, I saw the Oscar for W&G. Neat-o. After we left I napped all afternoon at my grandparents, then we all went to dinner in Santa Monica at some resturant. On the way back to Robert's apartment he took me by his work again and showed me his office and what he does. Really Cool Stuff. Saturday morning we enjoyed a free preview of Over the Hedge along with free pop corn and soda (at Universal Studios). Thank you Dreamworks. It was a great 2 days. And I must add, I want: a job at dreamworks and Robert's computer at his apt. (His life is better than mine currently)

Finals, Hockey, and More

Finals are this week. They shouldn't be too bad. Tomorrow I have to turn in a paper and that's pretty much all for my english final, then I have my music appreciation final tomorrow night, which I just listen to music as my preparation for it. Thursday is my anatomy final that I have actually studied for, and jazz is thursday afternoon... then I am done! (with BC at least)

The spring hockey league is over. We lost in the finals 5-3 (to green). It was an extremely unfair game due to the reffing. Because I wear a face mask, the refs aren't aware when somebody high-sticks me (because I don't grab my face and bleed). And apparently there is no such thing as hooking, slashing, and tripping either. The final 3 minutes were just a little out of control, but that's hockey. We'll get them back during the summer league, which will be my last here in town so I am obligated to play.

Lastly, for any of you who didn't know, I got accepted to UCSD as a psych major and will most likely be there in the fall. Colorado State is the only other possibility, but it's still unknown.
