Yeah...
I don't really have much to share right now. I am taking two upper divison psych courses (intro to developmental psych and sensation/perception) and calculus 1. Nothing exciting has happened yet. My apartment is still practically a cave, but I am getting used to it. There's finally food in our kitchen That's pretty much everything. I like San Diego.

The Beginning
I have successfully moved to San Diego and survived the first day of class at UCSD. My apartment (and my room) are like a cave. I don't get any direct sunlight. However I can fix that problem simply by going to the beach, which is just a few minutes away. I was there on wednesday night being social. As for classes, spanish is going to be... full of spanish. And my developmental psychology class I think will be somewhat similar to the child psych I took at BC. This prof can't be any worse than the BC person, so that's good. Tomorrow I have calculus and more spanish, but I can sleep in at least.

SD Here I Come
I am half moved to San Diego. Classes start the 21st and I'd like to think I am excited (though nervous and anxious too). I am moving the rest of my stuff down there this weekend, probably Sunday or Monday. That means I have to see some people this week. UCSD is going to be tough (something I already knew), especially since Revelle doesn't execpt IGETC and so I still have a bunch of GE's to finish and then all my upper division stuff. For those who want to see how my schedule shapes up, it looks like this. I am hoping for less than 3 years, but I am also going to enjoy myself and take it one quarter at a time. My apartment is livable. It's not bad, but has some getting used to to do. The essentials are moved in, like my bed, desk, some clothes, and the internet. The other essentials like my pc, golf clubs and tennis raquets are going down next trip. I didn't want to be completely bored this week...

Time Flies
A lot has happened since Friday. Friday's water fight was a success. After work and ice cream with friends I went up to Fresno to visit Taylor. We spent Saturday watching all 4 Harry Potters in a row!! In case you wondered, the total time was 611 minutes. A few drinks made and watching movies made for a great day. Sunday afternoon I drove home. I was fairly tired since I didn't sleep much Saturday, but that didn't keep from my hockey game. I opened Sunday's game with the first goal (and got 2 others later). We won 11-1, but still I'll take a hat trick any day. Two goals were in the first and the last came with 25 seconds left in the game. Score!! (haha) Too bad I had no fan section that game. Then today, Patrick and I went golfing. I did better on the back 9, but my score was good for me overall. It wasn't ridiculously hot either. That was nice. This is my last week of work for the summer. Yay! I am off to San Diego on Friday to find an apartment. Hopefully coming home on Sunday to play the last hockey game of the season. Then I have a couple days off until I drive up North for my summer vacation which consists of a LAN, hanging out with friends, and most likely some golf. Then I have to come home before Patrick and Brandon leave for school. Sometime during all that fun I get to register for classes as well. I hope I get some good classes.

Roasty Toasty
Today's waterfight was great! Afterwards though, Crystal (the other instructor) and I decided to do a little experiment. The thermometer read about 104° outside in the shade. We wondered what it was on the court. So we put the thermometer on the court for a couple minutes. It pegged out. 120° was the last marked temp, but the peg went approximately 15° past that. So... simply put, it's extremeley hot on the court.
