Just a few weeks ago I started to think about what I wear, and how I come to my decision on that. What got me thinking is, I woke up one morning a couple weeks ago, looked outside and noticed it was sunny, so I put on a shirt, shorts, sandals, then left for class. I walk outside, get in my car, and leave. As I am driving down the freeway it starts to rain. Sure enough, by the time I got to school it was cloudy and rainy...so much for a sunny day. Now there have been many more occasions, especially during the "cold" months like December, January, February, and I guess you could throw November in there too, when I would go through the same thought process in the morning. Wake up, see that it's sunny, and put on "summer" clothes. Now when I had my golf class last semester I would suffer more. Sure it was sunny outside, but it wasn't even semi-warm. It was more like frikkin cold or something along those lines. And not to mention that I wore sandals, and the grass was wet and cold, and so my feet weren't particulary warm.
Off on a tangent now. I have a good reason for wearing sandals almost every day last semester. Typical me, I only have 1 pair of shoes. So last summer when I went deep sea fishing I wore shoes (beacuse I didn't want a fish hook or other sharp obeject to stab my toes). It turned out, not to my surprise, that by the end of the trip my shoes had a fishy smell to them. Not to mention the tuna blood stain that was left when one of the deckhands drug a tuna along the deck and over the toe of of my shoe. The tuna was bleeding because once it was brought onboard it had to be knocked out, so it was clubbed or something, and the blood was from that... or maybe from where it was gaffed.
Where was I....oh yeah, 1 pair of shoes. There you have it, my reason for always wearing sandals when it was cold outside. Eventually I decided to wear my tennis shoes, the ones I bought for playing tennis. I really have no explanation for not wearing long-sleeves or a sweatshirt more often though. I guess that's just me. Anyways to conlcude my point about what I wear, I have come up with this: I base my judgement on what it looks like outside. I don't bother to acutally step outside and see if it's sunny-warm or sunny-cold. And I go from that first obersvation. I don't get dressed, then look outside to make sure it still looks about the same as it did whenever I got dressed. The funny thing about this is I am aware of it, and that the weather decieves me more often than not, but I still haven't changed much. I have noticed I tend to wear long-sleeves a little more often now because I don't trust the weather as much as I used to. Oh well...such is life. I think this post is long enough, maybe some other time I will enlighten you as to why I don't wear pants unless required to or that occasional social event where pants would be more appropriate.

Now imagine living where its really cold. Its March, which to you means warm and sunny. However, really, you're in Spokane, where its freezing until late May. So you wear shorts and flip flops and freeze all day long. Stupid sun that doesn't make it warm.
Tim... just give up, go to the store, and buy a pair of freaking shoes... lol. It really is that simple.
See you in a couple weeks. Yay spring break!!
